Everything est un outil administratif qui permet de localiser instantanément par nom les fichiers et dossiers dans Windows . Au contraire de la recherche Windows, Everything affiche au démarrage tous les fichiers et dossiers qui se trouvent sur votre ordinateur (d'où le nom Everything). Vous pouvez taper votre recherche dans un filtre afin de limiter les fichiers et dossiers à afficher. Avertissement : l'interface du logiciel étant à la base en anglais, aller dans "Tools" puis "Options" et choisissez "Français" dans la rubrique "Language".

I use this every day to locate files in Windows 7. When you want to locate a file by its name or location rather than by its content, this is an excellent tool. It also allows you to setup "servers" on other computers so that you can search your backup, other Windows machines remotely and screamingly fast. Lightweight, non-intrusive, really solid work.
